Our lip balms are the perfect remedy to cold northern winters. The balms are made with a blend of beeswax, sustainable coconut oil, sunflower oil and our essential oils.

Packaged in a 30ml aluminium tin perfect to carry around in a pocked or handbag.

Our beeswax is harvested from the beekeeper we have partnered with on the farm. No chemicals have been used in their hives.

(Although no bees have been harmed to produce the beeswax it is not a vegan product - we believe the harvesting of beeswax from our own and local hives, in a sustainable manner is better then using alternative waxes.)

How to use: Run a finger around the balm a few times and apply to lips. this all natural lip balm will naturally harden at colder temperatures. for use in winter we suggest keeping it in a pocket,

Ingredients: Bees wax, sunflower oil, coconut oil, essential oil (lavender / spearmint)

Northern Lavendars Story:

The seed was sown to develop a lavender farm when their founder was listening to the radio whilst working in rural USA. We like to say that that initial seed has really bloomed and it really has.

Their farming journey started in October 2021 when we took on a series of fields under an agricultural tenancy. Located in Asenby, North Yorkshire, the farm is nestled between the North York moors and Dales in the commonly named Vale of York. This situation provides a little microclimate, where the sun loving lavender plants can thrive.

From barren fields coming out of intensive agriculture we have farmed with nature, and through a lot of mishaps, testing and now super success with our own farm raised plants we have become the largest Organically certified Lavender farm in the country.

With the produce from the fields they now make a line of nature friendly cosmetics, fragranced candles and of course lots of lavender, all made by hand just yards from the fields. Their goal is to become as self sufficient as possible and each year we grow more things to supply our workshop.

Have a read of their blog to see what new is happening in the fields or sheds.
