Homemade pizza w. frozen dough balls

Frozen pizza dough balls are brilliant! Restaurant grade pizza at home with the added fun of customising your own toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2x frozen pizza dough balls
  • 200g Passata
  • 1tsp Dried Oregano
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 2 Mozzarella balls

Suggested toppings

Pizza 1

  • Sliced Red onion
  • Tuna
  • Kalamata Olives (pitted)

Pizza 2

  • Marinated artichoke hearts
  • Capers

 

Directions

 

  1. Take your frozen pizza dough out of the freezer to defrost 4 hours before cooking
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°c
  3. Once defrosted, stretch the dough it with your hands into a pizza base shape and place on a oven tray lined with greaseproof paper
  4. In a bowl, mix together the passata and oregano with a healthy pinch of salt and a fresh grind of pepper
  5. Spread the passata mix over the pizza bases with a spoon
  6. Tear up the mozzarella with your hands and spread evenly over the pizzas
  7. Add your preferred toppings
  8. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes
